Oh, my I have a feeling that A Simple Plan is not exactly going to describe my week this week. We have a LOT going on, I mean A LOT! We are starting Bible Study for the season on Tuesday – yah! I don’t have to teach/lead until next Tuesday, so that will simplify things a bit. And we are starting Hope for Homemakers – it’s official! – TODAY! If you haven’t started with us, we would love for you to join us! Read more about it here and sign up here. Oh and I might, key word might, try to take G and W to a new play group thing on Thursday! I am feeling tired just thinking about it!
I think we have had a serious breakdown in this area and I am going to try, TRY to get back on track here. Dinners around here have resembled a toddler’s dream junk-food day and this mother’s worst nightmare! But I am going to start out simple and try to use what we have on hand for the most part and make friends with my slow cooker:
Breakfasts – yogurt, waffles, oatmeal, fruit, scrambled egg burritos (w/bacon at my husband’s request)
Lunches: homemade chicken and cheese lunchables, pasta salad, egg salad sandwiches, quesadillas, pizzas, bacon grilled cheese
Dinners: Easy Chicken and RIce (slow cooker), Steaks w/ Roasted Potatoes and Veggies, Chili Mac, Crab Bake, breakfast for dinner, Fiesta Soup
Now let’s talk goals:
- Have Bible study materials, girls’ bags and accoutrement by the door before bed Monday night. Leave for Bible study by 8:30 Monday morning (treat self to Starbucks if this happens!).
- Post about and interact with Hope for Homemakers 28 Days to Hope for your Home Challenge each day. Complete each day’s challenge.
- Pay bills Monday night. Set aside mortgage information and call sometime this week.
- Put fresh baking soda in diaper pails, garbage cans, and refrigerator.
- Dentist appointment on Wednesday (I hate going to the dentist). Make general dr. appointment for W and me.
- Do One Hour Projects each night this week.
- Rework and create some posts for the blog.
- Set up mother’s helper to start coming soon!
Oh, my! What’s on your agenda for this week?
Here’s hoping!
