What a whirlwind week we had! And now it is my favorite season, Autumn – oddly enough not a consideration when we decided to name our second daughter Autumn Wren. But now a whole other reason to love this time of year. Hopefully things will slow down a bit this week, but I am not counting on it. A simple plan should help keep things rolling along just fine. It is just a matter of following it!
Menu plans for this week are simple because I am still trying to get back into the swing of things with cooking! Yes, this is the third week in a row…here’s hoping:
Breakfasts: yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, waffles, egg and bacon burritos
Lunches: quesadillas, empanadas, PB&J, Mexican Tuna Salad, turkey roll-ups, potato salad
Dinners: Brisket, Crab Bake, dinner out, Empanadas, Chicken Cacciatore, Peppery Chicken Curry with Bombay Potatoes, Pinto Beans and Rice with sausage, breakfast for dinner
Here is how I did with last week’s goals:
Have Bible study materials, girls’ bags and accoutrement by the door before bed Monday night. Leave for Bible study by 8:30 Monday morning (treat self to Starbucks if this happens!).Post about and interact with Hope for Homemakers 28 Days to Hope for your Home Challenge each day. Complete each day’s challenge.Pay bills Monday night. Set aside mortgage information and call sometime this week.Put fresh baking soda in diaper pails, garbage cans, and refrigerator.Dentist appointment on Wednesday (I hate going to the dentist). Make general dr. appointment for W and me.- Do One Hour Projects each night this week. {Got a couple of night’s projects completed, but really need to get back on track with this}
Rework and create some posts for the blog.- Set up mother’s helper to start coming soon! {Meet this week, hopefully!}
This week, I would like to get these things completed:

- Post about and interact with Hope for Homemakers 28 Days to Hope Challenge each day. Complete each day’s challenge.
- Write budget for October. Call about mortgage and dr. appointments.
- Create invitations for W’s 1st birthday party next month.
- Do One Hour Projects each night this week.
- Decorate the house for fall.
- Work on Preschool and baby play projects with the girls.
- Rework and create posts for the blog.
